Here, to start, is the list of sections that I use to describe the type of date it is:

    1. Dressing Up – This section delves into the fun you can have by wearing certain apparel on your dates!
    2. Holiday “In” - If you read my first blog on dating, you saw that I suggested having Halloween on any day of the year except October 31st. This section concentrates on many of the other holidays that you can celebrate year round.
    3. Let’s Have a “Ball” – This section isn’t so much about romance as it is about invigoration. It’s the sports section. Note: When you go on these dates, remember that it should be something that you both like to do!!
    4. Town & Country “In” – These are dates that take place either around town or in the country…it’s that simple.
    5. Not your “Run of the Mill” – People are usually so stuck in their dinner-and-a-movie routines, they forget some of these other ideas. These are dates that thousands of people are doing every day (or night).
    6. Be a “Crafty” Couple – A lot of people are really good with their hands and they don’t even know it. This section gives you the chance to use your creativity to make something together that might even last forever.
    7. Go For the Ride of Your Life – There are many modes of transportation. This section is dedicated to the use of some of these modes. And what a rush you’ll feel when the wind starts blowing through your hair, past your body, and into your soul!!
    8. Romantic Differences – These dates are either romantic and sentimental or very unusual and unique. I put them together because I didn’t know where else to put them.
    9. “’Partying’ is such sweet…” well…not sorrow, that’s for sure!! Sure it’s fun to go on dates where you and your partner are all alone…and yeah, it’s great going on a double date every once in a while…but there’s something about taking your date to a party that MAKES you have a good time!!

Wow, look how far we’ve come…we’re on number:

32- Horseback Riding (from Section 3 “Let’s Have a ‘Ball’”)
If you like to get into the “ol’ outdoors” and feel free and alive, then this is the sport for you!! It’s a powerful feeling, riding a horse. And sometimes when you’re galloping down the path, all you can hear is the sound of the hoof beats and your own heart pounding. If you don’t think THAT is an aphrodisiac, then you are not living!! Go for the ride of your life. This one is highly recommended!!

ROMANCE: 1-4
MONEY: $25.00-$50.00

33- Opera (from Section 5 “Not your ’Run of the Mill’”)
For an emotionally charged evening, there’s no better place than to be than a ballet…except for maybe an opera!! The music is moving, the story is intriguing, and the voices of the singers on the stage are awe-inspiring!! I never thought I would like the opera…until I went to one. You should really give it a chance. You’ll be hooked
FUN: 1
ROMANCE: 4
MONEY: $25.00-$50.00

34-Scavenger Hunt (from section 9 “’Partying’ is such sweet…”)
This is kind of like a single date and a party all rolled into one!! You start out with a bunch of people and then you split up to look for the things on the list of the scavenger hunt. You can make the scavenger hunt be nearby, say…in your home, or you can let everybody go wild and have them search the city for the items. When you finally get back together, the first couple with the most things on the list is the winner…and then you party. This makes it too easy to have fun!!
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1
MONEY: $10.00-$25.00

35-Wedding Crashers (from section 8 “Romantic Differences”)
Get all dressed up and go to a wedding or reception. Who cares if you don’t know the bride and groom. At least they’ll have refreshments and, usually, live music that you can dance to. The best things in life are FREE!!
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1-4
MONEY: $0.00-$10.00

36-Motorcycles (from section 7 Go For the Ride of Your Life)
Of course you’ll have to have a motorcycle license for this one, but when you get it, you can do this date over and over again…and is it exciting!!
In fact, if your date has a license, too, you can “head on down the highway” side-by-side. Or just take one motorcycle and take a trip to far away places (make sure you make time for derriere “resting” periods). In the summertime, a trip into the mountains can be an incredibly romantic date!!
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1-4
MONEY: $50.00 or more

37-Tourists (from section 1 “Dressing Up”)
You can really use your imagination on this one. Go to some area’s tourist attractions and dress up in Bermuda shorts, Hawaiian shirts, and cameras. Ask questions of people around you and see what kind of answers you get. And it gets more fun when you make yourselves look like tourists from different countries.
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1
MONEY: $10.00-$25.00

38- Water Fight (from section 4 “Town and Country ‘In’”)
This can be done almost anywhere (don’t do it in the house…I got grounded for 2 weeks). One of the best “date” water fights was on a double date. Each couple got squirt guns, water balloons, and an assortment of other water “weapons.” Then we started the ”war.” My date and I lost, and yet, it was a blast getting THAT wet on a hot summer’s day!!
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1-4
MONEY: $0.00-$10.00

39- Brithday/Unbirthday (from section 2 “Holiday ‘In’”)
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Celebrate your birthdays, in your own ways, on days that really are not!!
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1-4
MONEY: $10.00-$25.00 (or you can set your own limits)

40- Skating (from Section 3 “Let’s Have a ‘Ball’”)
Ice-skating is a fun sport to learn together, but even if you already know how to do it, it’s fun. A romantic version of this would be to find your own secluded frozen lake somewhere and skate to your heart’s content. Another version of ice-skating is roller-skating or rollerblading. It’s like ice-skating, only without the ice…and less bruises (maybe)!!
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1-4
MONEY: $10.00-$25.00

41- Comedy Club (from section 5 “Not your ’Run of the Mill’”)
Places where people get up in front of you and tell jokes. These people are called comedians. And if you are feeling really snippy, you might even look for a place that has an “open mike” night and get up on stage yourself. Impress your date…but before you do…you should read my article on How To Be a Stand-Up Comedian.
FUN: 4
ROMANCE: 1
MONEY: $10.00-$25.00

That’s ten more for you…these are really fun, so do them, then get back to me and tell me how it went!!
